- Guarantee minimum health and nutrition conditions in an emergency situation.
- Prevent and sensitize the population to minimize the spread of Covid19.
The current situation is worrying, especially in countries where social and health conditions are more adverse, countries with little response capacity and weak or non-existent health systems. For this, an emergency project has been designed to provide assistance and accompaniment to the most vulnerable people in the different countries of South America, Africa and Asia through: health prevention; food safety; health education, awareness and psychosocial support; and educational quality and access to education for boys and girls.
This emergency project prioritizes those countries where the greatest vulnerability and the urgency to act are detected, adapting in each of them, to their needs, their context and circumstances, with special emphasis on the protection and prevention of the virus through training and access to water, hygiene and sanitation.
- Distribution of basic bathroom supplies: water, soap, gloves, masks, etc.
- Awareness-raising and training on basic individual and communitary hygiene practices to avoid transmission of COVID-19.
- Food distribution, and hygiene kits such as water, soap, gloves, masks, etc.
- Installation of water points in school environments, especially in rural areas and refugee camps, to promote hygienic practices recommended by health authorities.
Thanks to this project, hygiene and food kits can be distributed to 100 families, covering the needs of more than 300 people.
